IrelandQCI in the news

Quantum technology specialists from across Europe attended QCI Ireland, a 3-day quantum communication conference, in July 2024, organised by the IrelandQCI Project Leads at Walton Institute in South East Technological University (SETU).

The high profile event saw welcome remarks delivered by John Regan, Managing Director at ESB Telecoms, a key note address by Ossian Smyth TD, Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications with special responsibility for Communications and Circular Economy. Presentations were delivered by representatives of the European Commission, European Space Agency and national EuroQCI projects, as well as by industry and academic experts from across the quantum technology sectors of Ireland and Europe.
